Evgeny Morozov
Pozorní čtenáři jsou si jistě vědomi, že tu opakovaně zaznívá, často v poznámkách pod čarou, jedno konkrétní jméno – Evgeny Morozov. Je to původem Běloruský badatel a autor, který studuje společenské a politické dopady technologie. Na tu nehledí růžovými brýlemi a často se jen prořezává ideologickým výstupem silicon valley. Postupně si uvědomil, že sledovat vliv technologie nestačí a musí jí hlouběji – do politiky a ekonomiky – a analyticky zaútočit na problém přímo u kořeně – kapitalismu.
Do kontaktu s jeho tvorbou jsem se, z důvodů již ztracených historii, dostal někdy v roce 2013 a od té doby ho nepřetržitě sleduji. Dokonce jsem si koupil i jeho dvě knihy The Net Delusion a To Save Everything, Click Here, tak velký na mě měl vliv.

+1: Ve zvláštní schodě událostí se paprsky zkřížily a Morozov se vyjádřil k Aralu Balkanovi (toho jsem v jednu chvíli také sledoval, ale on je jeden z těch lidí, kteří na twitteru neustále spamují & proto putoval do koše) a nebyl z něho příliš nadšen. Balkan straní s utopickými kapitalisty naivně věřící, že jakási mýtická forma kapitalismu s lidskou tváří nás může zbavit (digitálního) imperialismu a vykořisťování – názor, který Morozov nesdílí.
